The Dead End, Leaders and Prayer

This week the focus of a couple of my blogs and my social networks is on the subject of leaders and prayer. I believe there is a time as leaders that we come to a dead end or what some may call, we hit the wall of our day. I believe it is during these times that God is not calling us to push through. Instead, it is time to go to bed and get some sleep. There may be days, that the extended time of pray just did not happen. We must remember that conviction is from the Lord and guilt and condemnation come from the enemy.

As I write this I am at a dead end.  Meaning it is time for this writer to go to sleep for a few hours of rest.  As I prepare to sign off for a bit of rest, I'm sure the God I serve will love me just as much when the morning comes.

Matthew 11:28-30, what wonderful words to end a day.

Then Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke fits perfectly, and the burden I give you is light." New Living Translation

Tomorrow when our day begins as leaders, just as we read in Matthew chapter 11, may each one of us allow God to teach us.
