Embrace The Day, Embrace The Savior

Today I began my day very early at 5:30 a.m. My alarm was not set for this time, but my eyes opened and I began to quietly move into the day. The window is open and a cool breeze is blowing through the curtains. I recall living in the country in Michigan, sitting on my deck in the early morning with my Bible in my lap and a cup of coffee next to me, preparing for my day. I also recall the days before I became a believer in Jesus Christ, with no bible in my lap and no hope. In the change from not believing in Jesus Christ and to believing in him and receiving him as my Lord and Savior, I moved from no hope to an eternal hope. As I write this post this morning, I am thankful for each day to serve in the way and in the place he calls me to serve. The word that is flowing through my inward being today, is to embrace the day and embrace the Savior, to welcome the day and to welcome the guidance and promptings of the Holy Spirit. In this we will stay on the path of life that he chooses for us.
