This afternoon for an hour I placed my purple headphones on my head, turned on the music and out the door I went.
By the time I made it to mile number 2, I felt my body was ready to begin a short full sprint.
Then I remembered not yet, I am still in the middle of preparing my physical body, building endurance.
I looked straight ahead down the highway, and pushed as hard as I could, but made sure I did not run.
This required concentration and focus.
Four hours later I am feeling a little physical pain from the workout, BUT this is a good pain, because it is strengthening my body, and increasing my lung capacity.
To continue anything for the long haul whether it is a sport, running or long term project it requires wisdom and discernment of when to stay at the same level and when to push.
The Relationship Project and discipleship. We are moving into the big push of endurance.
To anyone reading this- be sure to stay in your own lane as you run your race. The race is not about pushing others off their path.
The success is in the endurance and continuing forward.
Let us lay aside every weight and sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us. Hebrews 12:1
