This morning I opened my eyes to birds singing, and a quiet neighborhood. I expected the sun to be shining, but instead it is overcast.
Since the sun is not shining I instantly changed my schedule. I planned on recording a few videos for the newly designed Teach The Teacher online course. A cloudy day makes for a yucky depressing background, so the video task is on the shelf.
I am preparing to read and review the book, 5Q by Alan Hirsch. It fits well with the vision of all we do at The Relationship Project and within The Relationship Conference.
Our vision is simple- We are a Learning Community with a focus on discipleship and growing in Christ; as we care for one another, and reach others in a lost and hurting world. (Matthew 28:18-20)
How do we do this? The Relationship Conference, Teaching, (online and off) and writing.
We also believe ALL people are important. God created men and women and both are equally loved by God.
Christian leaders who fight against the equipping, training and discipleship of others simply have set aside their job description.
(11) So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, (12 )to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up (13) until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
To be continued...
