Grace is Greater with Nancy

This morning I read chapter 6 in Grace Is Greater by Kyle Idleman, Subtitle, God's Plan to Overcome Your Past, Redeem Your Pain, and Rewrite Your Story.

The title of Chapter 6 is, More Prevailing Than Your Vengeance. I can identify with the first section. Summary- The Pastor received a hateful email from someone and he shared it with his Father.

His Father stepped in for him and sent a letter to the hateful person defending is son. The Pastor did not ask his Father to do this for him.

My take on this is we have a heavenly Father, but God uses people to step in and speak up for us.

Lately I have a couple of people in my life who defend me when someone attacks me  or is harsh with me. As brothers and sisters in Christ and as fellow leaders we should be willing to support others and come to defense.

Yes, God is our defense, but he also uses people. If we find ourselves standing in relationship with only people who are against us and critical then it is time to find a new circle of support.

God's Church is....w/ Nancy

God's Church Is

God's church is to be a multi-ethnic, all generation inclusive church, that is culturally relevant within a biblical foundation and context. If we begin with God's word in cooperation with the Holy Spirit this is possible.

Warning Extremely Offensive, I Love Jesus Alot, w/ Izzy

⚠️⚠️Warning Extremely offensive ⚠️⚠️

I love Jesus a lot. I want to be like Him. He loved people and spent a lot of time with them. It appears that He had a soft spot for the marginalized. I love White people, Black people, Old people,

Young people, I love members of the LGBT community, I love Muslims, I love refugees, I love atheist, I love people. Because of this and because I want to be like Jesus I have to empathize (not sympathize) with these people.

I have a low tolerance for hatred and bigotry, the Lord is teaching me how to love deeper.

The Bible tells us to love our neighbor and our enemies but generally they’re the same people. – I’m learning. With that said if you call yourself a Christian, empathy for the marginalized is kind of part of the deal. #TheUrbanCenobite

The Lord Stands with Us, with Nancy J.

16 At my first defense, no one came to my support, but everyone deserted me. May it not be held against them. 17 But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. And I was delivered from the lion’s mouth. 18 The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Grace Assists Us to Forgive, We are Forgiven and Free, with Nancy J.

assists us to . We are . We grasp the hand of grace and mercy. ~Nancy J.~

Lyrics- Amazing Grace

Amazing Grace!
How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost but now am found
Was blind but now I see
When we've been there ten thousand years
Bright shining as the sun
We've no less days to sing God's praise
Than when we've first begun
Through many dangers, toils and snares
I have already come
'Tis Grace has brought me safe thus far
And Grace will lead me home
Amazing Grace!
How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost but now am found
Was blind but now I see
Was blind but now I see
